Notice is hereby given that Lowndes County, Mississippi will receive sealed bids for:

LOWNDES COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER
PLUMBING FIXTURE RENOVATION AND WATER-TREE SYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The deadline for receipt of proposals is January 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids at the Lowndes County Administrator’s Office, 1121 Main Street, Columbus, Mississippi, 39701, until the bid deadline. Electronic bids may be submitted in lieu of sealed bids at www.lowndescountymsbids.com.

A Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid is required. The successful contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the awarded contract, in accordance with Mississippi law.
